“We had DJ Kahai Owens deejay our wedding reception in South Pasadena and have nothing but great things to say about our experience with him!  To begin with, we booked Vox DJs very late in the planning process, about a month to a month and a half in advance.  We didn’t book Kahai specifically until about a month ahead.  Once we were linked up with him, he was very prompt to reach out to us to learn more about what we were wanting.  Kahai even traveled to our neck of the woods and met us in person on a weekend morning to finalize plans a couple weeks before the event!

To say that my husband and I absolutely were certain of what we wanted of Kahai and the night is completely wrong.  While we had a completely customized playlist of the specific songs we wanted to play, we were terribly unorganized when it came to the night’s schedule and we were up front about this with Kahai and he took it very well!  Kahai has a very laid-back personality and went with the flow that night and things appeared seamless even though the schedule was ever-changing.  For that, we are grateful for his flexibility.  Additionally, Kahai was a lot of fun and entertainment for our guests as he basically emceed the night as well!

We were so lucky to have had Kahai play such a crucial role in our reception and I’m confident he can/will do the same for anyone who asks for him.  Thank you, Kahai, for putting up with our chaos and turning the night into such a fun, memorable night for us and our guests!”
