“Let me guess??? You’re getting married and you’re looking for a DJ and this is why you’re looking at Vox DJ’s…

Well homies, let me tell you about my experience and why I think you should look no further.

I had contacted Vox DJ’s almost 8 months prior to our wedding and the entire correspondence was extremely pleasant and efficient. They have a studio out in Torrance where we were able to meet the DJ and go over other options such as uplighting and a Monogram.

The biggest question you have is how do I choose the right DJ? Well, friends it depends on your vibe but I always go based off my instinct. Initially, we wanted Ace but due to availability and demand. They had given us another guy but after doing more research we were like…. We want Tetris Kelly. The guy’s name is TETRIS…… BRO. So cool.

Tetris Kelly is the man. Super cool dude and super professional. I dug his song selection and his overall vibe. He makes for an excellent DJ especially if you like top 40 and good 90’s/2000 pop which was the vibe we were goin for.

The cool thing about Vox DJ’s is you can look through their website of DJ’s and listen to their individual mixes and decide.

The DJ is also the MC. It’s not two separate people btw.

You can either opt to create spotify playlists for the reception, ceremony, and procession or just say fuck it and trust the DJ and have that person control which songs are being played at your wedding.

We had music playing 24/7. He had two speaker set-ups inside and out which was AWESOME….

Uplighting: Our venue was kinda dark and I’m glad we opted for uplighting. It definitely sets the mood and make our venue light up.

Monogram: It was literally a 4th quarter hail Mary decision on whether or not we should get one and fuck yeah I’m glad we did…. My wife created a custom design and they churned it out in a week’s time and then shot it on our blank wall at the venue and it came out perfect….. SO HAPPY WE DID IT.

Overall, a great experience with Vox. If you’re getting married and looking for a DJ go to Vox and Tetris.
